Set between Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin crafts white wines of notable freshness and finesse, often standing in the shadow of its illustrious neighbours yet with a distinct character of its own. Recognised since 1937, the appellation counts 30 climats classified as premier cru, grown on white, clay-rich, highly calcareous soils that lend chardonnay its characteristic tension.
This 2024 is made from hand-harvested chardonnay, sorted and gently pressed, with natural fermentation by indigenous yeasts. It is aged for 12 months between oak barrels and tank before blending. The nose shows white floral notes, while the palate offers buttery aromas balanced by fine freshness and hints of toast. Best served between 12 and 14°C, it pairs well as an aperitif, with a warm goat cheese salad, or fish in hollandaise sauce.

In Saint-Aubin, at the heart of the Côte de Beaune, Barbara Miolane carries forward the family domaine founded by her father Patrick in 1983.
It began with two hectares of vines in Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin. The domaine now spans nine hectares, spread across Saint-Aubin, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet. The vines are farmed under sustainable, low-intervention practices, with grapes harvested by hand.
Barbara Miolane joined the domaine in 2005, She now leads the estate alongside a small team, while Patrick remains involved while stepping back. Curiosity, empathy and humility guide her daily work, along with a commitment to evolving practices across generations to best express the domaine's terroirs.
