Born in Beaune, in the heart of Burgundy, my childhood was naturally shaped by the rhythm of the vineyards and the French art de vivre. Wine was not just part of the landscape, but of daily life – almost as natural as sharing meals with family.

Even today, I smile when I think back to our long, enjoyable family meals. My father and uncles would proudly present their best bottles or serve them with covered labels – a little game where guests could guess the noble wines. These were moments filled with warmth, conversation, and that special French conviviality that almost makes time disappear.

As a young man, I studied logistics and supply chain management, first in France and then in the UK. My career in the automotive industry began there, later leading me back to France and finally to Germany.

Love brought me to the beautiful Harz region in 2007, where I still live today. There, I built a fulfilling and successful professional life. After twenty years in the industry – most recently at executive board level for one of Saxony-Anhalt's largest companies – I increasingly felt a desire to return to my roots.

Because one thing has stayed with me all these years: my deep passion for wine. This is how Sélection Boudras was born in 2017 – from the heartfelt desire to share my enthusiasm and introduce others to the elegance, diversity, and soul of French wines.
