Wine details
Saint-Véran, vintage 2025
At the foot of the Solutré rock, in the southern Mâconnais, Saint-Véran gives chardonnay alone a white wine style marked by freshness and a delicate aromatic register of white flowers and pale-fleshed fruit. The vineyard spans seven communes across two zones, one to the north around Davayé and Prissé, the other to the south around Chânes, Chasselas, Leynes, Saint-Vérand and Solutré-Pouilly. This 2025 shows a pale, bright colour, an intense and inviting nose of peach and pear, and a palate balancing roundness with minerality through to a delicate finish. Serve between 8 and 10°C, ready to drink now, with light, spring-inspired dishes.
