Château Tour Saint Fort lies in Saint-Estèphe, in the Médoc, a property acquired in 2016 and renewed through significant investment.
Its 14 hectares of vines carry a long history: owned in the eighteenth century by the Seigneur de Pez and later the Calon family, the estate was classified Cru Bourgeois in 1852. Known successively as Maison Cazeaux, Château Pineau and Cru Tour Pineau, it took several forms before becoming Tour Saint Fort. Since 2017, it has been led by Pascal Fricard, who also directs Château Grand Ormeau in Lalande-de-Pomerol.
A new vat house and renovated cellar support an approach rooted in tradition and environmental care: fewer pesticides and herbicides, renewed soil cultivation, and a path toward High Environmental Value certification. Traditional vinification aims to let each wine express the estate's terroir, favouring freshness and elegance.
At Sélection Boudras, we value estates where history and terroir meet with such quiet rigour.
