Saint-Émilion Grand Cru, Vintage 2018

Around the medieval town of Saint-Émilion, east of Libourne, lies one of the most respected appellations of the right bank, where Merlot N leads the blend, supported by Cabernet Franc N and, more modestly, Cabernet Sauvignon N. The Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation was established by the decree of 7 October 1954. The grapes were harvested mechanically and vinified in stainless steel tanks, before the wine was aged in barrels, 70% of which were previously used and 30% new oak.

Château Haut Larguet

Château Haut Larguet, in the Libourne area, has belonged to the Bourrigaud family since the eighteenth century: eight generations devoted to this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru terroir.

The château lies at the heart of Bordeaux, within the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation. Since the eighteenth century, the property has remained in the hands of the same family, passed down through the generations.

Pascal Bourrigaud, the eighth generation of winegrowers, succeeded his father Jean in 1994. He now runs the estate together with Véronique Bourrigaud.
