Domaine Bernard Moreau, in Chassagne-Montrachet on the Côte de Beaune, carries forward a family story that began in 1809.
Founded by Auguste Moreau, who built a cellar near the Champs Gain climat, the estate took its present shape from the 1930s under Marcel Moreau. Bernard Moreau took over the vineyard in the early 1960s and gave the domaine his name in 1977. Today the fourth generation leads the estate: sons Alexandre, in charge of vinification, and Benoît, responsible for the vineyard work.
The family's 15 hectares span 14 appellations across the communes of Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin, with white wines accounting for 70 percent of production.
At Sélection Boudras, we value domaines where each generation passes on precision and a deep sense of terroir.
