This 2018 AOP Languedoc

Diversity and generosity define the character of Languedoc, whose AOC status was recognised in 2007 through the extension to all appellations of the region, following the earlier recognition of Coteaux du Languedoc as an AOC in 1985. This white wine blends 55% Roussanne, 30% Viognier and 15% Bourboulenc, vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with cold settling, débourbage and fermentation maintained between 16°C and 18°C. Ageing takes place over 8 months in 500-litre oak barrels. The estimated ageing potential is 10 years.

Food pairing

Grilled fish or fish in sauce, poultry, Mediterranean cuisine, goat's cheese. Serve at 10–12 °C.

Château Capion

Château Capion lies at the foot of the Larzac plateau in the northern Languedoc, not far from its famous neighbours Grange des Pères and Mas Daumas Gassac.

The building's origins date back to the 16th century. Since 2023, Francis Ingrand and Sandrine Tannière, a couple from Montpellier, have run the 96-hectare estate, 49 hectares of which are planted with vines. Farmed organically since the 2020 vintage, the vineyard produces wines classified under the AOP Terrasses-du-Larzac and Languedoc, as well as the IGP Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and Pays d'Oc.

At Sélection Boudras, we value these aromatic wines, shaped by terroir and character, offered by Château Capion.
