Wine details
The 2016 AOP Languedoc
A broad expanse of hillsides at the heart of Occitanie, the AOC Languedoc brings together red, rosé and white wines across one of France's largest wine-growing areas. First recognized in 1985 as “Coteaux du Languedoc,” the appellation took its current, expanded form in 2007. Its white wines draw on a range of Mediterranean grape varieties such as bourboulenc, clairette, grenache blanc, marsanne, piquepoul blanc, roussanne, tourbat and vermentino, complemented by viognier as an accessory variety.
The Château Capion 2016 shows a pale, golden hue, with aromas of acacia and orange blossom.
Best served chilled, this white offers an elegant tasting experience.
