Wine details
Petit Chablis, Vintage 2024
Crisp and direct, Petit Chablis captures the freshness of one of Burgundy's most northerly chardonnay terroirs. The appellation spans seventeen communes around Chablis in the Yonne, a few kilometres from Auxerre, and is devoted entirely to chardonnay, locally known as Beaunois. The vines grow on the plateaus and hilltops, where hard Portlandian limestone prevails, with more clay-rich soils lower on the slopes. The result is a dry, light white wine marked by minerality, best enjoyed young.
