A few kilometres north of Beaune, Chorey-lès-Beaune is best known for its elegant, supple reds, while its rarer whites reveal notes of white flowers and hazelnut. The appellation spreads over the alluvial fans of two valleys, on clay-limestone soils. The “Tue-Boeuf” climat, with its clay soil, covers a plot of 0.225 ha here.
Grapes are hand-harvested with careful sorting, then pressed whole in a pneumatic press with slow, gradual rise in pressure, followed by thorough settling. The wine is certified organic.

Domaine Françoise André, based in Beaune, has upheld since its founding in 1983 a family tradition carried out with remarkable precision, from vine to cellar.
Founded by Françoise and Michel André following the acquisition of a plot in Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru “Les Vergelesses”, the estate has been led since 2009 by Lauriane André. Jérôme Després, as estate manager, oversees the vineyard work and technical direction. Across 11 hectares spread over 16 climats in the Côte de Beaune, the vineyards extend from Beaune, Chorey-lès-Beaune, Pernand-Vergelesses and Savigny-lès-Beaune to the Corton hill, where grands crus such as Corton-Charlemagne are also produced.
Farming is organic and biodynamic, Ecocert-certified since 2012, with grapes harvested by hand. This meticulous work in the vineyard and gentle guidance in the winemaking give wines of finesse and elegance.
