Domaine Michel Briday

Domaine Michel Briday, in Rully at the heart of the Côte chalonnaise, is a family estate whose wines combine purity with structure.

Founded in 1976 by Michel and Lucette Briday, who leased six hectares of vines in Rully at the outset, the domaine has grown across generations. Their son Stéphane Briday joined the family estate in 1988, after gaining experience in the wine trade, and Sandrine followed in 2000. The estate now spans around 15 hectares, spread across the Rully appellation — village and premier cru sites including Grésigny and La Pucelle, as well as the monopole Clos de Remenot — along with Bouzeron and Mercurey.

Grapes are harvested by hand, and the domaine has held Terra Vitis certification since 2014, a sustainable farming label verified by an independent body. This respect for nature in every vineyard decision shows through in wines where the whites express purity and delicacy, and the reds offer structure and generosity.
