The vines lie in the southern part of the Pauillac appellation, on the edge of Saint-Julien, on deep gravel soils formed by the Garonne.

In 2017, the Cazes family, owners of Château Lynch-Bages and Château les Ormes de Pez, took over the estate, opening a new chapter. An extensive planting programme has doubled the vineyard's size in three years, from 22 to 41 hectares, of which 22 are currently in production. The estate also places emphasis on biodiversity and agroforestry: in 2022 alone, 14 species of trees and shrubs, totalling more than 910 plants, were introduced into the vineyard.

At Sélection Boudras, we appreciate this Pauillac for the way it blends classified heritage with genuine renewal.
